Laboratory of Industrial Geodesy

Leonardo Bortoni, a Mechatronics Engineering student at UFSC Joinville and a former LGI researcher, is currently doing an internship at the Machine Tool and Production Engineering Laboratory (WZL) at RWTH Aachen, one of the most respected German universities. Leonardo works on a research project that aims to increase the accuracy of large machine tools by correcting distortions caused by thermal gradients. The internship lasts 12 months.
